Abrar Ahmed, DMD

Dr. Ahmed is a board-certified pediatric dentist who was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine before completing her specialty training in pediatric dentistry through NYU Langone at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, CA. To further supplement her passion for public health and improving access to care, she completed an Advanced Education in Public Health Certification through NYU. Dr. Ahmed is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has extensive training in caring for infants, children, adolescents, and individuals with special health care needs.

Dr. Ahmed truly loves working with children and feels honored to be part of their journey toward a lifetime of healthy smiles. She believes that a child’s dental experience can shape the way they feel about dentistry for years to come. Her goal is to create a dental home where every child feels safe, comfortable, respected, and encouraged. She enjoys taking the time to get to know each patient and their family, using a warm, positive, and individualized approach to make every visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Beyond the dental office, Dr. Ahmed is passionate about mentorship, community service, and giving back. For more than a decade, she has mentored students through the college, graduate school, and professional school application process, with a particular passion for supporting youth and first-generation college students. On her time off, Dr. Ahmed also loves to travel and explore new cultures, having visited more than 30 countries and counting. She is an avid hiker and enjoys exploring mountains, seaside cliffs, and the great outdoors.
